Visconti is a sculptural stool inspired by Cordovan leather, a royal ornament with Andalusian reflections, and the Visconti-Sforza Tarot, one of Italy's oldest divinatory games.
On its barrel, an engraved fresco emerges: alchemical flowers, blazing suns, stars, and vegetal volutes dance in a sacred interweaving. Each symbol echoes an arcana: the Pope's hand, the Star, the Sun, the Ace of Cups... The relief, like embossed leather, captures the light and reveals a secret world that unveils itself to the initiated.
The Visconti stool invites meditation. It represents the initiatory journey of a being in search of self, mirroring the Tarot arcana.
