Visconti est un tabouret sculptural inspiré du cuir de Cordoue, ornement royal aux reflets d’Andalousie, et du Tarot Visconti-Sforza, l’un des plus anciens jeux divinatoires d’Italie.
Sur son fût, une fresque gravée émerge : fleurs alchimiques, soleils flamboyants, étoiles et volutes végétales dansent dans un entrelacs sacré. Chaque symbole fait écho à un arcane : la main du Pape, l’Étoile, le Soleil, l’As de Coupe… Le relief, à la manière du cuir repoussé, capte la lumière et révèle un monde secret qui se dévoile aux initiés.
Le tabouret Visconti invite à la méditation. Il représente le parcours initiatique d’un être en quête de soi, à l’image des arcanes du Tarot.
Visconti is a sculptural stool inspired by Cordovan leather a royal ornament with Andalusian reflections and the Visconti-Sforza Tarot, one of the oldest divinatory decks in Italy.
Engraved onto its shaft is a poetic frieze: alchemical flowers, blazing suns, stars, and swirling foliage intertwine in a sacred tapestry. Each symbol echoes a tarot archetype — the Pope’s hand, the Star, the Sun, the Ace of Cups… Like tooled leather, the relief captures the light and reveals a secret world that unfolds for the initiated.
The Visconti stool is an invitation to contemplation. It embodies the initiatory journey of a soul in search of itself — much like the arcana of the Tarot.
Tabouret Visonti
Visconti est un tabouret en faïence émaillée.
Son fût cylindrique est orné d’un motif gravé à la main, inspiré des cuirs de Cordoue et du tarot Visconti-Sforza. Chaque symbole est sculpté à la manière du cuir repoussé, puis recouvert d’un émail vert.
L’assise, garnie de mousse haute densité et habillée de velours Dedar splendido, est conçue sur mesure pour chaque projet. Pièce d’exception, Visconti incarne l’alliance du savoir-faire céramique et de l’exigence décorative, pour des intérieurs raffinés à forte personnalité.
Visconti is a glazed earthenware stool, produced in a limited series. Its cylindrical base is adorned with hand-carved motifs, inspired by Cordovan leather and the Visconti-Sforza tarot. Each symbol is sculpted by hand, in the manner of tooled leather, then covered with a green glaze.
The seat, made to order, is composed of high-density foam and upholstered in velvet. A piece of distinction, Visconti combines ceramic craftsmanship with decorative precision, designed for refined interiors with a strong identity.
