An apartment to accommodate travelers
THE CONTEXT

Some spaces have a knack for making you feel at home the moment you walk through the door. That was the ambition of this project in Nice: to create a seasonal rental apartment where travelers can drop their bags and, almost immediately, feel good.
THE NEED
——
The apartment had everything going for it: herringbone parquet, ceiling mouldings, unusually high ceilings. But it was tired, weighed down by the years. The potential was there, hidden away. All it needed was to be revealed.

A stay that sets the tone

The sand-toned, limewashed walls capture that very special Niçoise light, golden and generous, which transforms an ordinary interior into something enchanting.
Rattan light fixtures, brass and marble tables create a quiet elegance. The kind of space where one naturally settles in, where one can breathe.
The kitchen: a room in its own right

The deep green of its walls is no accident. In feng shui, it activates nurturing energy, that breath of life that invites us to take care of others and ourselves.
The white zellige tiles of the backsplash capture and diffuse the southern light with that soft shimmer so characteristic of Mediterranean interiors.
Solid wood, golden faucets, and terracotta cement tiles on the floor do the rest. A lively, generous kitchen that makes you want to linger.

The tropical wallpaper creates a leafy and soothing atmosphere, which the rattan headboard and white linen anchor in softness.
To start the day on the right foot

The fully renovated bathroom is designed as a wellness space. Marble-effect tiles, delicate mosaic in the shower, natural light. A place where you can take your time, and where the day starts off well.

The result: an apartment that takes care of its occupants. A place where you arrive tired and leave refreshed. Exactly what you'd expect from a lovely stopover in Nice.
